Profile:

Kelly Lyman is responsible for Information Technology at PECO, including strategy & planning, project delivery, daily operations, and implementation of the High Value Technologies for PECO including Smart Meter/Smart Grid, Outage Management etc. She also has responsibility for the IT Real Time Systems (Transmission SCADA, Gas SCADA, Outage Management, Geographical Information Systems etc.) across all Exelon owned utilities (BGE, ComEd, PECO, Pepco, Delmarva Power, Atlantic City Electric) including IT Real Time operations support, strategy and implementation of all Real Time Solutions.  Kelly has recently transitioned from her role as the IT Lead for the Merger and Acquisition of PepCo Holdings Inc.  Exelon Corporation, the nation’s largest competitive energy provider.  Exelon is headquartered in Chicago and trades on the NYSE under the ticker EXC.

Professional History:

Prior to her current position, Kelly Lyman was Director of IT Solutions, leading the IT components of PECO’s Smart Grid/Smart Meter project including the extensive private Smart Grid Communications Network deployment in support of the Meter Deployment across the PECO region.  She joined PECO in 2010 after spending two years with Exelon Generation as the Director of Information Technology Projects. Kelly Lyman’s background includes over fourteen years of energy industry experience and more than 20 years of extensive Leadership experience within operations, manufacturing and large complex programs.  She was the lead for Operational Excellence at NRG Energy, Inc, responsible for leading multiple project teams to deliver large, complex technical solutions and process improvement initiatives as a Six Sigma Black Belt.  Kelly was also responsible for the deployment of the EZ Pass solutions for the NJ Turnpike Authority, Atlantic City Expressway, Delaware Department of Transportation (DELDOT), Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) and Richmond Metropolitan Authority (Smart Tag)

Kelly holds several Board of Director seats for non-profits including Big Brothers Big Sisters, Arts & Business Council of Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, and Tech Impact and is actively engaged with Leadership Philadelphia, SIM (Society of Information Management) and GPSEG (Greater Philadelphia Senior Executive Group).  Kelly is an active member of Project Manager Institute (PMI) and the International Society of Six Sigma Professionals (ISSSP). She is an active volunteer for organizations including Philabundance, In2books program for children, Autism Speaks, and is a Big Sister and Executive Sponsor for the BBBS (Big Brothers Big Sisters) Beyond School Walls program at PECO.
